What Goes Around...
There's that old saying, "What goes around, comes 'round." We like helping our friends with projects, especially those projects related to moving, since it's already so stressful. Our friends Lori and Michael have been very generous in helping us with our construction, and when the call went out for help with their house, we signed up gladly! They bought property in a small town in Sonoma County, and needed help fixing up the small house to make it livable before the big move.
When we arrived, Annette's first assigned task was priming the exterior of the house. Uh, did anyone tell them that she's NEVER painted the exterior OR interior of a house before? Ahhhh, good training for painting our new garage soon!
So, no, these aren't pictures of our house. And, no, our property did not suddenly grow by leaps and bounds. Lori and Michael are lucky enough to live on an apple orchard in a really beautiful area. We loved helping them, and will gladly do it again any time.
