Several people have visited us, walked through the house, and remarked, "Well, this isn't so bad. This place doesn't look like it's in that bad of shape." We're here to tell ya, we're livin' la vida off kilter. Take a look at the two most obvious examples of how screwed up the foundation is. Doors really are supposed to hang within the frame evenly. Really.
And when Bill went to build the shelter for our budding pile of building materials, we discovered yet another off kilter surface. That's not a shadow between the wood wall and the house. It's the gap that grows from top to bottom and shows how off the house is. No, really. The wood is straight. The house isn't.
